charlie1Charlie is the Baritone, and wouldn’t want to sing any
other part.  (He can’t really, so getting leftovers
is the only thing left!)  He’s been barbershopping
for just shy of 20 years and began his singing career in
Towson, MD after hearing Keepsake’s recording of “Roses
of Picardy.”  He’s been hooked every since.
Since moving to Florida in 1998, he’s performed with the
Heralds of Harmony, The Academy and One Voice, and is the
current Music and Performance VP with the Heralds.
He’s also been privileged to sing in several Sunshine
District quartets: Contractual Obligation and Polyfonix
(where, in both, he was fortunate to sing with his son,
Matt, who has also been bitten by the BBS bug), Weekend
Edition, and Monopoly.  Charlie was also a member of Double Play, winning both a Senior’s District Title and the right represent the Sunshine District in the Midwinter Convention in Las Vegas.  He and his fantastic wife, Linda, live in Apollo Beach, FL.   Charlie, is recently retired andworking hard at perfecting that new role.
